"Look you won't find intel on them as easy as you think...if its who I think it is...we will have our hands full. Its the one who gave me my regeneration powers and my super slow aging ability....if they got loose from where we put them, then their power has grown." Dire takes a seat at the table trying to decide how much of his past she really needs to know.

"As to them being killed...if its this person...they can kill without being seen...what do you know about true magic?"

[Wicked]

Trying not to smirk she says, "More than you know." She sits on the table next to him and says, "I told you I am immortal but what I didn't tell you is that I am a Guargian Angel sent by God to protect mankind. " She watches his expression and the twinkle in his eyes. "...and Bellare is the Goddess of War from Mount Olympus. She and I are .....well..much older than I want to admit to." She blushes at this last part. "So, yeah, I am thinking that I can handle anything you throw at me." She looks at him expectantly.

[Wolvel]

Dire listens as she tells about her and Bellare, he gets to his feet and paces a bit. "If its the one I'm thinking about you may have fought him before centuries past. I've learned through resources of my own, he is actually part demon from hell and part god from the norse myths....ummmm an asgardian...I think." he pauses to let it sink in.

"We've tried killing that son of a bitch, even War hit him with a full anti-matter blast and he survived....so if it is him we will have our hands full like I said."

[Wicked]

Wicked listens attentively and asks, "What name do you know him by?" She starts pulling memories forward trying to determine who it might be. "What does he/she look like? Tell me everything you know about him."She stands up and looks at him looking for the information in his eyes.

[Wolvel]

Dire re-takes his seat...deciding she may need to know in case she wants to save this team..."he goes by the name Demon Claw...he is bald and has a long face, narrow chin and a tattoo on his forehead of a red circle with a symbol in the middle...unsure its meaning."

[Wicked]

Concentrating she asks, "What are his powers?"

[Wolvel]

"Thats a loaded question....I know that most of them are magical, but unsure of his full powers. I think he only uses partial because it could burn out his host body here on Earth...so he is limited at least." Dire replies watching her eyes to see if it sparks anything.

"Now you see why I wonder but didn't want to speculate without proof."

[Wicked]

Wicked tries to remember but she can't get to part of her memory. "He doesn't sound too familiar from what I remember but there is a gap in my memory of about 5 years or so." She turns away a little embarrassed that she can't remember such a large chunk of her memory. "Well he isn't the only one who hasn't been able to use full powers. I was told I did it once....lol, I closed the gates of hell with mine." She looks a llittle shy about it.

[Wolvel]

"Well all this happened over in Tokyo anyway. We had him sealed away in a chest a local Japanese shaman blessed for us...my guess is another of my past demons freed him." Dire lets it all sink in then decides to pry a bit himself.

"So what's a angel doing here on Earth running a hero team anyway?"

[Wicked]

Chuckling, she says, "Wow, now that's a question." Smiling she says, "Well let's take a walk this might take a while." Walking out the front door with him she says, " I am only one of thousands that have been put here throughout the centuries. We are put here in pairs. My partner and I were sent here in the very beginning." Wicked remembers and pauses. "Over the centuries many of the Angels were sent to other worlds or died fighting demons a few fell from grace and died as humans. In my case I am still here and I joined the league to help people....My partner..." She looked pained at this point, "I don't remember what happened to him. I think he was reassigned."

[Wolvel]

He takes all of her story in..."hmmmm....maybe this group can last long enough this time...Look I'm not sure if Demon Claw has gotten free, hell it could be a brand new enemy...maybe you could ask God to find out for me."

[Wicked]

Wicked laughs at that, "It doesn't work like that.I can talk to him and he answers me but he is off creating other worlds. It is our job to help the worlds turn into something worth his effort to create them. Once it is created he walks away and on to the next one. " Her eyes twinkle in the light. "If we fail.....then... uh well nevermind" She said remembering who she is talking to. " Wow you are easier to talk to than I would have imagined." She says a little unnerved.

[Wolvel]

Dire breaks out in loud laughter, "must be my boyish charm." he replies picking at her a bit.

"Look until this villain shows them self we need to do two things...first get this group training together to be able to work well in the field, War and I know what we can do its how we all fit that will make or break the team...and second we have to wait out the foe."

[Wicked]

"Maybe it is" she smiles a littly flirtatiously. "Well, waiting out the foe is easy. We can get everyone training and doing missions and that will help a lot." She sits on the stairs outside the door and looks up and the moonlight. She motions for him to sit and she says. "So is there any way you can find out if he is still in Japan?"

[Wolvel]

"Only one way to find out and that is to go and see...War could make the trip in a day or so." Dire replies taking a seat next to her. "My only concern is if we can get this group to have a synergy in a fight...the last three teams didn't have it at all...its why they failed."

He looks up into the night sky, "you siad you have a memeory loss...any idea why?"

[Wicked]

Wicked feels the sorrow return just a little. Her smile fades. "I know something happened in Los Angeles that resulted in a big battle that ended with me using my powers full force and closing the gates of hell. " She sounded lost and sad, "I know I lost something or someone there, but I can't remember what. My whole team can't remember most of the same parts I can't remember." She breathes deeply and starts again. "I finally asked God why I couldn't remember. He said something happened that I could not bear so he erased it from our memories. I can only assume my partner was reassigned then too." She looked down at her hands.

[Wolvel]

"Well look at it like this, what is one battle to an immortal...I've lived awhile longer than most myself...sometimes you just have to let things go and move on." He looks at her hoping his words helped, he was never one to mince words...his style is more action than words.

[Wicked]

She smiles at his words and nods. "Yes, you are right. I should try not to focus on it. It just saddens me and I don't want to be sad anymore. So how is it for a guy who doesn't speak all that much you managed to make me feel better?" Wicked stands up and holds her hand out and pulls him to his feet. "You are a good listener. Thank you." She leans over and kisses him softly on the cheek. Blushing slightly she turns to walk away.

well after all that towel around neck need some food and more drink.
heads to kitchen,sees beer in the fridg grabs one and looks around seeing soe steaks nice time for a meal i say grabs the steakes and another beer ,heads out side sees a grill ,starts i fiire in the grill starts cooking steak..as medum rare...head back in gets a chair and yells out anyone want a steak goes back to grill .drank the 1 beer fast then started on the other

Dire watches her walk away not sure what to say, old memories rush to the surface as her lips touch his cheek. Thinking to himslef that this is not her he turns and goes to War Monger's room. He enters as War is relaxing watching television,"how do you feel about making a trip?"

War Monger looks over at him, "where too?"

"Japan...I need you to check that item, just in case."

War sees the actual concern in his eyes,"damn...if you're concerned it must be bad....be back in a few hours." with that he turns into a ball of energy and vanishes.

Dire heads to his room hoping the item is still intact.

finishes the cooking ,sets it down in table puts out grill,eat like never had eaten,finishes the beer.getting ready to head in hears some wolfs howlling,i loook around no one is about shift to wolf form and heads in the direction of the howls

Wicked goes inside and back to her office and pulls a sheet off of the fax machine. She sighs and taps her comlink "Bellare, I'm going out on a quick mission, It doesn't look big so I'll be back soon." "Alright Wick." Wicked ran towards the front door and flamed up when she hit the stairs.

Soaring overhead she saw a typical robbery in progress. Dropping down behind the perp she warned him to drop it and he spun around and shot a gun at her. Dodging the bullet she threw a fireball at him and his arm went up in flames. Suddenly Wicked saw a figure move out of the corner of her eye and then Wick felt a blast hit her in the side and her flames protect her to some extent but aren't enough to block it entirely. Her vitals immediately drop sounding the comlink alarms.

Bellare looks at her blinking comlink and Shimmers to Wicked. Dire looks at his comlink, frowns and takes off running to his motorcycle.

Bellare notices Wick sliding towards the ground and she sits her down. Bellare is blasted in the side and she looks down at the wound and looks up seeing the man responsible. The would closes up on it's own and Bellare sends him a mind blast and hears him yell out in pain.

Wicked hears a motorcycle just as Bellare takes off running after the guy. Wick looks up to see Dire pulling up.

Dire leaps off his cycle and runs up to Wicked and checks over her body finding the wound and cursing to himself, he recognizes the wound. Thinking to himself that this is not good he moves quick tearing his t-shirt off and ripping it into strips he ties it around her body staunching the blood flow. Picking her up and heads for his bike, getting her on behind him he tells her to hold on tight as he takes off. Racing as fast as he can to get back to base he yells over his comm for medical to meet him in the garage.
As soon as they arrive the medics take Wicked and bolt for the medical bay. Dire Wolf makes sure she is inside and being taken care of, then he suits up and takes off to find Bellare...

[Wicked]

Wicked manages to stay conscious long enough to keep from falling off the motorcycle. Medical puts her on the stretcher and she sees the concern on Dire's face. "No worries, I'll be okay." she murmurs. "Go help Bellare."

Meanwhile, Bellare speeds after the guy down and she tackles him to the ground with such force she rolls past him and hops up drawing her swords. "Now running away is hardly gentlemanly is it?" Bellare started to circle him and he begins to chant in another language and she realizes he is using magic.

Dire pulls up just as Bellare hits the guy with a serious Mind blast and he shrieks and hits her with a laser blast to the chest. She yelps and heals. "you know, those are irritating."

[Wolvel]

Dire Wolf leaps from his bike landing full force on top of Demon Claw, he creates claws of his own and begins to hack and slash away at Claw. "You sick son of a bitch!!!! You've been avoiding me time to pay up!"
A bright blast of red energy fills the air as Dire goes flying backwards landing several feet away unconscious. Getting to his feet Demon Claw dusts himself off looking at Bellare, "Bitch...that blast of yours hurt...first time in eons I've been hurt like that." he pauses as the few dozen wounds Dire put on him seal up. He lifts his hands up surrounding both Bellare and Dire in a magic shield then he vanishes...the shield dropping a few minutes later.
Dire begins to stir,"that bastard got away again..."
